The Agnes Macleod Memorial Fund was established in 1979 to assist women of advanced age, resident in Scotland, who were either born Macleod or whose mothers were born Macleod and who, by reason of sickness or limited means, are suffering hardship.

The intention is to assist in cases where the benefits available from the State are either not sufficient or not appropriate.
